New Club Logo

The Old Carey Soccer Club Board of Directors, recently voted to adopt a new club logo.

In an off-season full of change, the Club decided that now was the time to embrace the future and recognise that the Club were moving out of their “establishment” stage.  With the appointment of a new coach, and many off-field advancements, the Club believed it was an ideal time to introduce a new logo.

The logo is much simpler than the previous design, and is visually attractive.  It features a Canary as its main centrepiece, which as most of you know is the nickname of the Old Carey Soccer Club.   The logo embraces Old Carey’s two main colours (Canary Yellow & Royal Blue) and retains its historical “routes”, with the torch remaining prevalent in the current logo.  With the Old Carey SC remaining a part of the Carey Baptist Grammar School set-up (thegrammarians/students being referred to as the “torch-bearers”), the Club felt it vitally important that they remained true to their heritage and continued connection with the school.

The new logo has been drafted by Dan Thomas, who has spent a vast amount of time designing and refining his idea.  The club would like to thank Dan for the time he has dedicated in designing this logo.  The logo is now the official club logo and will appear on all websites, merchandise, kits and correspondence.
