Daniel MacDonald is the new Old Carey Soccer Club captian.

The 23 year old will wear the armband for the first time in a competitive match against Old Brighton at Wilcox Field this Saturday.

Alex De La Torre announced his decision to the senior squad during a team meeting on Tuesday night.  MacDonald will be supported by vice-captains Luke Udorovic and Richard Stanner.  The trio will form a new-look leadership group.

The Old Carey Soccer Club wishes to congratulate “Macca” on his appointment, and wishes him and the rest of the team all the best for the upcoming 2010 season.
