Following the cancellation of their fixture against East Altona, Old Carey have been quick to arrange a new game for Saturday 12 March 2011 (Labour Day Weekend). 

The team will now play against Provisional 3 N/W side Darebin. Darebin will provide the squad with a stern test, having only just missed out on promotion last year.  It will be a great opportunity for both Seniors and Reserves to continue their improvement and development as the season draws near.

“Bung” will be looking to find his name on the scoresheet for the second week running, having scored his first goal in Old Carey colours in the narrow 2-1 loss to Epping City.  The reserves on the other hand will be desperate to avenge their poor showing against Epping City, and get their pre-season back on track.
