It is with great sadness that the Old Carey Soccer Club advises that senior coach Alex De La Torre has resigned from his position as senior coach effective immediately.

Due to the expected birth of Alex & Melissa’s first-born child, Alex is unable to commit his time to the Old Carey Soccer Club. Alex has done a fantastic job for the club, and the playing group and the club itself has taken big strides forward under his guidance. He will be greatly missed around the club, both personally and in his role as senior coach.

On behalf of the Old Carey Soccer Club, we would like to thank Alex for his dedication and enthusiasm that he has brought to the position.

The Old Carey Soccer Club has commenced the search for its new senior coach. We will keep you all informed of the progress of the search over the coming weeks.
